Jeremiah Mattson, Board Member

|||| |||| ||||

Jeremiah grew up in Paris Idaho. His family has been farming and ranching in the Bear Lake Valley for three generations. He has been involved with cattle and ranching his entire life. Jeremiah works as a dental lab technician, ranches, and has a fencing company. He also served in the US Forest service from 1995-2000. During this time he worked as a wildland firefighter and was involved in prescribed burns ranging from sagebrush to timber, managed subalpine fir undergrowth and marked timber thinning seed tree units. He is married to his wife, Janet, and together they have four children: Kyle, Zack, Ali, and Tyson. Seeing the need for balance between livestock grazing, wildlife, and recreation is what motivated him to join Y2U.
